Reach out

In my photos, I try to capture this theme. Some images present a solitary tree overlooking an open landscape, while others show groups of trees that seem to gather in silent conversation. The work is rooted in the idea that nature carries memory, presence, and atmosphere beyond what is immediately visible.

The gathering

These prints were created through an analog darkroom process using stacked negatives in the enlarger. The soft bokeh-like spheres were introduced to evoke unseen stories and traces that remain just beyond perception. A Paterson texture screen was added to give the images a more painterly quality.

Each final print was produced by hand on Foma photographic paper, with contrast filters used to carefully control highlights and shadows.
